Remanded another two days, this time in Sungai Petani.

The Jitra Magistrate’s Court granted a two-day remand order on DBI Properties managing director Datuk Noruliman A Rahman to facilitate investigations into a property scam in Jitra involving RM30,000.

Also remanded were two men and a woman aged between 30 and 45, who are directors of Syarikat Juta Kelulut Global Resources.

Magistrate Abdul Hadi Hakimi Harun granted the remand orders under Section 420 of the Penal Code.

Noruliman, 37, also an actor known as “Boy Iman”, was represented by counsel Ummi Kalthum Zakaria. Legal Aid Foundation’s Zuriah Mohd Nordin represented the rest.

Last Monday, Noruliman was detained at the Bukit Indah police station in Ampang for alleged involvement in a RM6.2 million property scam.

The police began investigations following reports on the scam allegedly involving DBI Properties and Syarikat Juta Kelulut Global Resources.

The remand order on the actor is the fifth after he was detained in Ampang, Shah Alam, Muar and Sungai Petani.
