Amanah vice-president Husam Musa has furnished evidence to the MACC on allegations that his former party, PAS, received Umno funds.
An Amanah source who declined to be named said Husam submitted the evidence while giving his statement to the MACC in Kota Bharu last night.
“It is understood the evidence is in the form of documents and voice recordings,” the source told Malaysiakini.
Husam had spent two hours speaking to the MACC last night.
He said he was advised not to speak to the media on what transpired.
The MACC is currently probing allegations that PAS leaders received RM90 million from former Umno president Najib Abdul Razak.
PAS leaders have denied getting RM90 million from Najib.
However, leaders such as PAS central committee member Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz have admitted to getting funds from Umno, though they maintain that this was not for personal gain. – Malaysiakini
