Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor will have a second meeting with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Wednesday (Sept 26).
The wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been issued with a notice by MACC to be present at its headquarters at 10am.
Sources said that officials from MACC handed over the letter on Tuesday (Sept 25) evening.
On June 5, Rosmah was called by MACC investigators to have her statement recorded over an investigation into SRC International Sdn Bhd.
According to its sources, the Malay Mail reported that Rosmah could be arrested on the spot after MACC records a short statement from her tomorrow.
The source said she will be questioned on money laundering-related cases, where investigators believe funds from SRC International were used to purchase supplement products.
“Investigators are expected to question her on the purchase of hormone-based anti-ageing products from the United States worth over RM1 million and several other purchases.
“Chances are high she will be picked up after the statement recording and brought to court the following day to be charged,” the source said.
When contacted, Rosmah’s lawyer Datuk Geethan Ram Vincent confirmed MACC had contacted his client.
