Video of elderly woman beating a younger woman circulating on social media, but police deny victim is the late Indonesian maid Adelina Lisao.

The footage which lasts for more than two minutes shows an elderly woman repeatedly kicking and stomping on the victim before hitting her with a stick.

It was not known who and where the video was recorded.

The victim can be seen crying and begging for mercy, and many has jumped to conclusion that it was Indonesian maid 21-year-old Adelina Lisao, who died following alleged repeated abuse by her employer on Feb 11.

Another woman is later seen walking out from the house and pouring a pail of water close to the victim.

After studying the video, police have confirmed that it was not filmed at the location where Adelina’s alleged abuse took place, The Star Online reported.

“We have also confirmed that the women in the video are not the accused in the (Adelina’s) case,” Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid said on Saturday.

He added that no police report has been lodged over the video so far.
