Interim Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal is unfazed by Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) president Datuk Seri Anifah Aman’s threat of legal action over claims of land belonging to Yayasan Sabah.
Shafie, who is Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) president, claimed the party has details that Anifah’s family had secured contract for land that belonged to Yayasan Sabah.
“We will reveal all the contents. There’s a company owned by Anifah’s family and a factory operating on that land.
“Let (Anifah) bring the matter to court. We have all the evidence,” he told reporters after launching state-level Malaysia Day celebration, today.
Yesterday, Anifah said he would take legal action against Shafie after the elections over the latter’s accusation that he, his older brother Tan Sri Musa Aman, and family members had secured a 100-year contract for land that belonged to Yayasan Sabah.
Anifah described the allegation as Shafie’s desperate move to win the state election, calling the move as unethical and unprofessional.
The former foreign minister also advised Shafie to stop paying dirty politics by involving people’s family. – NST
