The self-proclaimed “Raja rasis Malaysia” said he was not bothered by all the criticisms hurled against him and Perkasa over their pro-Malay stand.

Perkasa president Datuk Ibrahim Ali said at the opening of the Federal Territory (FT) Malay Congress yesterday that all the condemnations and ridicule he and his Malay-rights NGO faced made him even stronger.

“I am very proud and admit I am Malaysia’s ‘King of Racists’

“So what? So what?

“They insult us, say who is Perkasa, as though we are not worthy to be Malaysians and don’t have the right to speak

“Even though we are small, but as citizens, we have rights.

“And whoever says we are racists, whoever says we are small, whoever insults us, to hell with them (persetankan mereka),” Ibrahim said.

He was responding to Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz’s comment that Perkasa was being racist lambasting the RM55 billion East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) launching ceremony on Aug 9 as “too Chinese”.

“Who are they? They are not important. They are racists and we don’t tolerate racists in this country,” Nazri said.

He also accused Perkasa of being small-minded and not representing anyone.
