Interstate travel still restricted.

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has mentioned today that the 10km radius limit no longer applies during the conditional movement control order (CMCO) which starts today.

However, he stressed that interstate travel is still restricted during the CMCO.

He was responding to a question on whether interstate travel is permitted and if travels are still limited to a radius of 10km.

Prior to this, individuals were only allowed to travel to buy essentials within 10km and only one person was permitted per vehicle.

Then the government eased restrictions by allowing two members of the family to go out and they may travel beyond 10km if the nearest premise that provides the required necessities is located beyond 10km.

As selected businesses are now allowed to reopen with stringent SOP during the CMCO, the government is now allowing up to four family members per vehicle.
