A 23-year-old driver was killed on his birthday when his Perodua Bezza was pinned between a lorry and a parked school bus.

Soh Yong Hou was heading towards Kelapa Sawit with a female passenger when the accident took place at KM41 of Jalan Johor Baru-Air Hitam at about 9.30am yesterday.

Initial investigation revealed that Soh’s Perodua Bezza had apparently swerved into the opposite lane and collided with the lorry.

The car was dragged across the road before it hit the school bus that was parked at the side of the road, according to Kulai police chief Superintendent Dzulkhairi Mukhtar.

He said the car was crushed between the bus and lorry.
