A major real estate and investment company CEO has been remanded for allegedly groping a nurse while he was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Subang Jaya.
Updated: The Datuk has been released on police bail on Sept 13.
A Datuk was detained by police after a 19-year-old nurse at a hospital in Subang Jaya complained he had groped her.
Selangor CID chief SAC Fadzil Ahmat said in a statement on Tuesday that the man is a chief executive officer of a major real estate and investment company.
He said the incident is alleged to have taken place at 7.30pm on Friday in a ward at a private hospital where the man was receiving treatment.
Fadzil said the nurse complained that the Datuk grabbed her buttocks and breasts, and also kissed her on the cheek.
Following a police report by the nurse, the man was arrested and has been remanded for four days to facilitate investigations.
Just days ago, it was reported that a 26-year-old female doctor was suffering post-traumatic stress following an incident of sexual abuse at the Melaka Hospital on Sept 3.
The victim only calmed down after senior doctors offered consultation to her.
The doctor was allegedly molested by a 37-year-old patient who was undergoing medical screening at the emergency and trauma department of the hospital.
The patient was believed to be a drug addict.
