Negri Sembilan deputy health director (public health) Dr Mohamad Faid Abd Rashid said the department has investigated the matter and it has been amicably resolved.

“The latest is that this issue has been settled through discussions between the two parties,” he said in a statement today.

Yesterday, a 28-second clip went viral on Facebook and WhatsApp, showing a woman being told off by the doctor in a loud voice for complaining about his services at the Seremban Health Clinic.

Faid, who is carrying out the duties of the state health director, urged the public not to speculate on the matter and to get accurate information from the department or Health Ministry.

“Any complaints on services should be channelled through the official channels. The public are reminded that they are not allowed to take photographs or videos in a health facility without permission.

“It is important for this prohibition to be understood and observed, in particular to protect the privacy of other patients receiving treatment or examination at a health facility, including the consultation room of medical officers,” he added.

Faid said the department welcomes feedback from the public and will continue to improve health services in the state.
