Four Motorcyclists Killed in Accidents 500m Apart on KL-Seremban

Four motorcyclists died in two separate accidents which occurred 500 metres apart on the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway in the early hours of Sunday.

In the first accident which occurred at around 2.20am, two motorcyclists died after they collided with each other.

“Witnesses claimed that one of the motorcycles hit the side of the other and both men were thrown off their machines.

“Both men died at the scene,” Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Yusoff was quoted as saying by The Star.

Their bodies were sent to the Serdang Hospital for post-mortem.

The victims were aged 16 and 26.

The second accident occurred 10 minutes later along KM301.5 of the highway.

“A car was travelling in the middle lane on the highway when a motorcycle grazed its rear right fender.

“The collision caused the vehicle to spin before six other motorcycles hit it,” Ahmad Dzaffir Yusoff was quoted as saying.

Both aged 23, one of the motorcyclists died at the scene and the other died at Serdang Hospital.

“The other motorcyclists suffered multiple injuries and were rushed to the same hospital,” Ahmad Dzaffir said, adding that all vehicles have been sent to Puspakom for further investigations.

Both cases are being investigated for reckless driving under Section 41 (1) of the Penal Code.
