Police are searching for a married couple who allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl who stayed with them at their Bukit Mewah flat in Kajang.
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Yusoff told The Star that the man is the girl’s adoptive brother.
The girl, a school dropout, and her 18-year-old boyfriend had lived with the couple since January. The couple took the teens to live in Melaka between February and June.
The girl’s ordeal only started when the four returned from Melaka in July, when the man offered the teens jobs at his scrap metal shop in Bandar Teknologi Kajang.
Since then, the married couple often abused the younger couple by hitting them with sticks, pipes, metal rods, and clothes hangers if they failed to meet work expectations.
The girl claimed the man raped her several times and she was forced to perform oral sex on his wife.
The girl’s boyfriend managed to escape in September while the girl ran away from the scrap yard with the help of a good Samaritan on Oct 3.
On Monday, she lodged a police report.
“The girl has been sent to Kajang Hospital for treatment. She was examined by a doctor and it was discovered that she had a tear in her private part.
“She also sustained injuries on her right ear, neck as well as on her hands and legs,” Dzaffir was quoted as saying.
The case is being investigated for rape and causing hurt.
Police are in the midst of tracking down the couple who had fled their home.
