Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar says a woman who was reported as having kissed him had actually whispered in his ear.
The Johor ruler has called on the public to stop casting aspersions on the woman who allegedly hugged and kissed him on the cheek during a stop in Ayer Hitam on the Kembara Mahkota Johor tour on Sept 11.
In a Facebook post on Sept 14, Sultan Ibrahim said the woman had approached him to whisper something in his ear.
“However, I could not hear what she was saying because of the noise in the open area,” he said.
In his post, Sultan Ibrahim included a video recording which he said clearly showed that the woman had not kissed him.
Adding that she had not done anything untoward or improper, he asked the police to be tactful in handling the investigation into the matter.
The woman is said to have suffered from depression for over ten years after missing her goal for 19 A’s in her SPM examination by one A.
