A handwritten note with the words “Please call my son or my daughter” in English were found on the deceased at the scene, according to Sentul district police chief Assistant Commissioner R Munusamy.

“Based on the note, investigating officers went to the house of the victim’s daughter. The victim lived next door to his daughter,” Munusamy said.
