Faizal Hasbullah Alimin, 20, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed along the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway near Genting Sempah last week. According to a report by Harian Metro, Dr Koh Siew Ling immediately came to his aid, providing necessary medical attention. She also stayed with Faizal until the ambulance arrived.

Faizal told the Malay daily that he had broken his right arm, but Koh set it back into position and helped check his pulse and breathing.

Unknown to Faizal, his friend Muhammad Aizuddin Mohd Sharif, who was also at the scene of the accident, had posted a picture of Koh helping Faizal and his story had gone viral on Facebook. Many netizens praised Koh for her act of kindness.

Learning of Faizal’s desire to meet her, Koh went to visit him at Hospital Kuala Lumpur where he was warded.

“At first, I could not recognise her. But then when she came closer, I realised she was the one who had helped me after my accident,” Faizal said.
