Perlis Mentri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli has been released after giving his statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
“MB not remanded. Allowed to go home after providing statement,” Mohd Shukri said in a Facebook post on Tuesday (April 30).
Earlier it was reported that Shukri has been detained by the MACC.
This was confirmed by MACC chief Tan Sri Azam Baki.
He said the MACC is investigating allegations against Shukri’s son.
“My officers also want him to answer several allegations against him,” Azam said.
