A jilted part-time model allegedly murdered her lover in a fit of rage, slashing his wrists with a sharp knife.

The woman is believed to have found out that her boyfriend was unfaithful, and this led her to slashing his wrists. She then rushed him to seek medical treatment. However, despite doctors performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for at least 30 minutes, the victim was pronounced dead at the Cyberjaya Hospital.

Kuala Langat OCPD Supt Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor said police were alerted about the incident at 9.41am on Monday.

He said the victim had injuries on both wrists, believed to have been caused by a knife at a house in Bandar Rimbayu.

“We opened an investigation paper and arrested a 26-year-old woman on the same day.

“Checks showed the suspect is a former medical student who works as a part-time model,” he said, adding that she does not have any prior record.

“The motive is believed to be jealousy. The victim has been identified as a 26-year-old freelance photographer,” he said.

Supt Ahmad Ridhwan said the case has been classified as murder and that the suspect has been remanded for six days to assist in investigations.

Meanwhile, video clips showing the aftermath of the alleged fatal attack are circulating on social media.

In the videos, the man can be seen sprawled on the floor in a pool of blood after allegedly being stabbed multiple times by his girlfriend.

The woman is seen trying to stop the bleeding.

In a separate video, a victim’s friend is heard talking to the woman over the phone.

“Why are you so angry? (that you stabbed him) What did he do?” the friend, a male is heard saying in the clip, demanding answers about what happened to the victim.

The woman can be heard crying and saying that she did not mean to hurt the victim as he was her boyfriend.

The woman’s Instagram page has been flooded with angry comments from social media users following reports that she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death.

Many netizens have flocked to the model’s page, which has over 8,000 followers, to leave angry comments under her more recent posts.

“I don’t know what’s on your mind or what you’re going through, but attempting murder is not the solution,” said one social media user.

Another remarked that the incident was tragic and voiced hope that justice would prevail.

“Just because you’re angry doesn’t mean you have the right to be cruel,” said another social media user.

However, some social media users urged others not to jump to conclusions and that people should wait for official statements from the authorities before passing judgment on the model.
