A video that has gone viral on social media shows a group of girls ganging up to attack a schoolgirl.
Police are investigating the case of a schoolgirl who was viciously beaten by a group of other girls.
The girls rough-handled the victim, kicking and raining blows on the victim, sometimes with several girls attacking her at one go.
The incident is believed to have taken place in the field of a secondary school in Kunak, near Tawau, Sabah, at the end of the school session, on Saturday.
District police chief Superintendent Mohd Nasarudin M Nasir said they received a report from the victim’s parents yesterday.
“The police will call in all the students involved, including their parents, and ask for the school teachers’ cooperation to give their accounts of what transpired,” he said.
