Individuals who have Inland Revenue Board (IRB) tax records and are eligible for the Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) aid, but have yet to receive the cash assistance are urged to update their bank account information.

In a statement today, IRB said they should do so at https://ez.hasil.gov.my/ci by April 30 to enable payments to be made next month.

“The updating of bank account information should be done by April 30 to enable the BPN payment to be credited into the account in May,” it said in a statement on Monday (April 13).

IRB also warned the public against falling prey to scammers and that it would never ask for Transaction Authorisation Code (TAC) sent to mobile phone before channelling the aid.

“BPN recipients are advised to only use IRB’s official channel to update their banking information. Take note that IRB will not ask for the TAC (transaction authorisation code) when making BPN payments.”

For those without prior tax records with IRB, payments would be made as explained in the BPN’s FAQs (frequently asked questions), available at https://bpn.hasil.gov.my/Download/Faq/SoalanLazim(FAQ)BantuanPrihatinNasional(Kemaskini 06042020).pdf.
