Parti Ekonomi Rakyat Malaysia (Perkira) president Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah has urged the police to investigate the influx of foreign workers, especially those without documentation.
Urges investigations on:
- influx of foreign workers
- agents involved
- former home minister Zahid
Ridzuan, who filed a report on the matter at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters this morning, also wanted the police to investigate the agents involved as well as former home minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Ridzuan, who is also president of Ikhlas, told reporters that since 2012, the NGO has lodged numerous police reports and sent memorandums to the government on the issue of foreign workers and illegal immigrants.
However, he said the previous government had failed to resolve this issue.
Ridzuan also said that he is willing to furnish evidence to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on this matter.
“We are willing to cooperate with MACC and provide evidence. We challenge MACC to summon us.
“I have also sent a letter to the new Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin on the issue,” he said.
