Rosmah and sons to give statement to police on 1MDB.

Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and her two sons, Norashman Najib and Riza Aziz, are expected to present themselves to the police on Friday for their statements to be recorded in connection with the investigation into alleged misappropriation of funds from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Riza is Rosmah’s son from her first marriage and was implicated in the 1MDB scandal.
The trio will be quizzed by the Anti-Money Laundering Crime Investigation Team at Menara KPJ, Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur.
“Investigators will question her further on various issues relating to 1MDB, including the items seized from premises linked to her husband (Najib).
“It is part of the division’s investigation into various aspects linked to the sovereign fund,” a source was quoted as telling The Star.
They were initially required to show up at the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department headquarters on Thursday (Oct 25), but the meeting was postponed to 10am on Friday.
“She (Rosmah) wanted to be there for her husband since he is slated to be charged tomorrow. We agreed to the postponement,” a source was quoted telling Malaysiakini.
