Appearing to have moved on over the fiasco of the TN50 scuffle, David Teo shares a light moment where he creates an ending for his unfinished pantun.

  • Teo in relaxed mood, nevertheless, police carrying on with investigations over the scuffle incident
  • Case investigated for voluntarily causing hurt

In a video uploaded on YouTube, David Teo finishes the pantun that he had started reciting when he was interrupted by Sulaiman Yassin.

In the footage of Teo having tea with a group of people in what is believed to be the company’s office, he is asked what the rest of the pantun was.

He had only managed to recite: “Sekali ombak sampai ke pantai…” (Once the waves reach the shore…”).

Teo said he had been too shocked by the incident to continue his pantun. After some deliberation, he dramatically concludes the pantun with the rhyming line: “PM jemput saya datang bersantai” (PM invited me to come and relax”).

“So that was why I was relaxing and got walloped,” he added, to the laughter and applause of his audience.

FMT reported that according to Sin Chew Daily, Kuala Lumpur police criminal investigation department chief Rusdi Mohd Isa said Teo and Sulaiman would be called in today. He added that neither of the men has lodged a report yet.

Teo said he was ready to give his fullest cooperation to the police.

The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.
