Government and Razak Baginda to pay over RM9 million.
The High Court has ordered the Malaysian government and political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda to pay over RM9 million to the family of the late Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu, who was brutally murdered.
Judicial Commissioner M Sumathi issued the ruling today, directing that the payment, including interest, be made within 30 days into the account of Altantuya’s father, Shaariibuu Setev, via the law firm Karpal Singh & Co.

Sumathi also ruled that both the government and Abdul Razak must each pay RM25,000 in costs to Shaariibuu.
