The Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) has detected a dubious website with the URL of https://online-ssm.com, that offers services, including for renewal of business registration and corporate information, at a high fee.
CCM advised the public to stop using the online address but to instead use the commission’s EzBiz Online Portal with the address of https://ezbiz.ssm.com.my.
“The EzBiz Online portal can also be accessed through the CCM website at https://www.ssm.com.my,” it said.
Among the transactions that can be done through the EzBiz Online Portal include new business registration, renewal of business registration, change and termination of business, as well as for corporate information.
CCM said strict legal action will be taken against website owners who conduct transactions involving laws that come under the jurisdiction of the commission, including transactions that involve business entities.
