“The Ministry of Health (MoH) is planning to start the compulsory swab test in the Federal Territories and Selangor,” he told the daily press conference today.

Ismail said the government will not hesitate to shut down any place, including construction sites, factories, restaurants or any businesses, if any Covid-19 cases are detected among employees.

In fact, he said the Works Minister had closed a construction site in Ampang after it was found to have contributed to the increase of Covid-19 cases in the country for the past two days.

He said the EMCO in Parcel C, D, E1, E2, E3 and F, however, has been extended to May 12 upon the advice from the MoH.
