Agong to appoint new MACC chief.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has presented Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar with a list of candidates for the post of new MACC chief commissioner, according to Bernama.
The king also posted on his official Facebook page that Anwar was in Johor Bahru today for a working visit, during which he met His Majesty at Istana Pasir Pelangi.
The development comes a day after Sultan Ibrahim announced that he would appoint a new chief commissioner, and a day before protests against the incumbent, Tan Sri Azam Baki, are scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur.
