Datuk Seri Bung Mokhtar Radin will be stepping down from his post as Felcra chairman by end-May.
Speaking to reporters at the lobby of Umno headquarters in PWTC, Bung gave a simple one-liner regarding his position at Felcra: “I will submit my resignation letter by the end of this month.”
Yesterday, Felcra CEO Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope said Bung’s position was not mentioned during his meeting with the Council of Eminent Persons.
“We only discussed operational matters and how we can increase Felcra’s performance,” Zulkarnain said yesterday.
Bung’s resignation will put rest to speculation on whether he will continue as Felcra chairman.
