A burger seller was charged in the Sessions Court here today with 12 counts of raping his two daughters.
- Raped elder daughter 5 times in 2013
- First raped younger daughter when she was only 11
- Preyed on younger girl 7 times from 2014 to August this year
- Forced daughters to have sex with him when wife was at work
- One of the victims confided in a relative, who informed the girls’ mother
- The mother lodged a report, the man was arrested

He was charged with five counts of raping his 18-year-old daughter in 2013 and seven counts of raping his 14-year-old daughter from 2014 to August 2017 at a flat unit at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah in Johor Baru.
The charges were made under Section 376B of the Penal Code for committing incest.
If convicted, he is liable to face a maximum of 30 years in jail and shall also be liable to whipping.
The 48-year-old man, however, pleaded not guilty to all the charges before judge Mohammad Khalid Ab Karim.
The accused, who was clad in a black T-shirt, merely shook his head when the charges were read out to him. He was unrepresented.
Mohammad Khalid set Oct 15 for mention and submission of documents. He also ordered the accused to engage a lawyer.
It was reported that the man would force his two daughters to have sex with him at their home in Skudai when his wife, the mother of the two sisters, was away at work.
His heinous act was finally exposed when one of the girls confided in a relative about her father’s behaviour.
This prompted the relative to inform the girls’ mother, who lodged a report at the Johor Baru North police headquarters on Sept 9.
The man was arrested on the same day.
