UK girl, 14, raped by “Asian” stranger – then by “Asian” rescuer.
A 14-year-old girl had walked to Birmingham’s Witton railway station with her friend but was led away after being approached by two men.
She alleged she was led to a secluded area of the station, near the Aston Villa football ground, and reportedly raped by one of the men.
According to police, the incident occurred sometime between 8pm on Tuesday and 2am the following morning.
Shortly after that attack, the girl walked out of the station in a disorientated state at about 2am and flagged down a passing vehicle to get help.
However, after getting in the car she says she was then raped a second time.
Hours after detectives released on CCTV stills of the two suspects of the station attack – both described as Asian – two suspects were detained on Saturday.
The suspects, aged 27 and 35, are both from Birmingham.
British Transport Police (BTP) continue to appeal for information regarding the second rape.
Specialist officers are continuing to support the victim.
