Police refute rumours that 16-year-old son of a minister with a Tan Sri title was driving the RM2m Lamborghini.

A Lamborghini Aventador was involved in a three-car pile-up on Jalan Persiaran Teknologi Subang at 5.13pm today.

The accident reportedly occurred when the driver of the Lamborghini tried to make a left turn to Persiaran Teknologi Subang from Persiaran Jubli Perak.

The driver lost control and hit the left rear of a Perodua Myvi and then crashed into a stationary Proton Persona at a traffic light on the opposite lane before ending up at the roadside.

The Lamborghini and the Persona suffered major damage while the Myvi had minimal damage.

The drivers of the Lamborghini and Persona suffered injuries.

Police are still waiting for all parties to lodge a report on the accident, but they refuted rumours that the teenage son of a minister was driving the luxury car.

A Facebook post alleged that a Tan Sri’s 16-year-old son without a valid driving licence was behind the wheel of the RM2mil vehicle when it crashed.

“There are many rumours flying around that it is a minister’s son and so on. It is not true,” ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari said.
