The man believed to be involved in the murder of a woman whose body was found wrapped in a blanket in an apartment in Prima Damansara, Petaling Jaya, last Wednesday, surrendered himself to the police yesterday.
Selangor CID chief, SAC Fadzil Ahmat said the suspect went to the Tampin District Police headquarters in Negri Sembilan at 1.30am.
The remand order for the 40-year-old suspect has also been issued to facilitate further investigation into the case, Fadzil told Bernama.
Last Wednesday, the woman’s blanketed body was found under a pile of pillows in the apartment.

The initial investigation found that the woman died of suffocation and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
