Najib Still at MACC As of 2pm

Arriving more than 15 minutes earlier than required and wearing a black coat with a pinstripe shirt, Najib cut a confident figure at the MACC this morning.

Embattled former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has arrived at the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters for a second round of questioning over the dubious transfer of RM42 million into his personal bank account from SRC International Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Najib and pulled up at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya at 9.45am on Thursday (May 24) in a white Toyota Vellfire, escorted by police outriders.

In tow were two vehicles with his legal team.

Najib smiled and waved to the waiting media outside the building, before walking in to sign the guest logbook.

It was reported that Najib then spent at least 10 minutes in the interviewee holding room, where he was briefed by his lawyers, before being brought to the interrogation area.

He is expected to spend at least four hours being questioned, where if events are to pan out similarly to Tuesday, the interrogation will be completed by around 2pm.

Meanwhile, former PetroSaudi International Ltd Xavier Andre Justo officer was also spotted at the MACC once again.

Justo arrived at the building around 9am to meet with the special task force investigating 1MDB for the second time.

He also met with MACC personnel yesterday.
