Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has withdrawn his lawsuits against the top investigators probing scandal-riddled 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

The former prime minister retracted his legal actions against Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Abdull, Commercial Crime Investigations Department (CCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Amar Singh, and Attorney General Tommy Thomas.

Najib filed the three lawsuits on June 30, claiming that they were prejudiced against him.

Senior Federal Counsels Alice Loke and Suzana Atan appeared for the trio.

Loke said no order was made as to costs.

Najib’s lawyers did not provide reasons for the decision.
