Perak now has a new state government with 32 assemblymen under the Perikatan Nasional coalition, said menteri besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu.
He also said he is still the menteri besar for now.
All state exco appointments have also been nullified effective today, he added.
Meanwhile, Perak Umno liaison chairman Saarani Mohamad said his party, PAS and Bersatu will propose to Sultan Nazrin Shah several names for the menteri besar position.
