The issue surrounding a possible cabinet reshuffle will be discussed during the Pakatan Harapan presidential council this weekend, said PKR information director Fahmi Fadzil.
He said the matter was not discussed during the PKR political bureau meeting last night.
Pakatan Harapan chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed had earlier hinted of a possible cabinet reshuffle which might happen before the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Summit next year.
“The party (PKR) did not discuss this matter specifically, I believe the leadership will discuss it during the presidential council this Saturday,” he said after the political bureau meeting in Parliament.

Fahmi also told reporters that PKR is not seeking a by-election in Batu for a return of the constituency’s former MP Tian Chua.
“Tian Chua was at the meeting and we were informed that there are no calls for anyone to make way for a by-election,” Fahmi said.
Fourteen civil society groups in Batu had called for 23-year-old MP P Prabakaran to step down, while PKR sources who want Chua back in the seat have alleged the young lawmaker had spent almost all of his constituency allocation too soon.
Prabakaran has also had his Toyota Vellfire pelted with eggs by unknown persons.
He has refused to step down, saying his mandate is from voters and intends to complete a full term.
Chua has distanced himself from the calls for Prabakaran to make way.
