Johor police have arrested two 18-year-olds for allegedly taunting, assaulting and robbing a mentally disabled man at a playground in Kluang.

A distressing 30-second video clip of the incident has since gone viral after it was uploaded on Kami Anak Jati Kluang, Johor Facebook page, sparking outrage among the public.
In the video, the 20-year-old victim is seen at the playground in Taman Sri Kluang when the teenagers approached him.
One of them used a tree branch to intimidate the victim who desperately tried to fend off the attacks.

It is understood that although there were witnesses to the incident, no one came to the boy’s aid.
According to Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Laham, one of teens had recorded the incident that occurred at about 8.30am on March 13, The Star reported.
“The bullies also took the victim’s mobile phone, RM20 in cash and his sling bag.

“The father brought the victim to lodge a report after watching the viral video,” Mohamed Laham said in a statement today.
He also said that police arrested the alleged bullies at around 11.10pm the same day at Taman Gunung Lambak.
“A check revealed that both suspects tested positive for methamphetamine,” he said.
He added that the case has been classified under Section 384 of the Penal Code for extortion.
