A woman, who just gave birth and is still in confinement, suffered severe bleeding when she was kicked in the stomach by a teenage girl in front of her house.

It is believed that the 8.30pm incident on Saturday occurred when the woman had told a loud group of teenagers outside her home at PPR Kota Damansara to tone down.

On Sunday, a closed-circuit television footage which captured the incident was uploaded by Facebook user Encik Dep and it has since gone viral on social media.

The woman had quarrelled with the rowdy teenagers after they woke her baby up from sleep, according to Encik Dep,

He said the woman had requested for the group to disperse and they would not listen. Provoked, they raised their voices louder and made even more noise.

“An argument took place between the victim and the group before one of the teenage girls in the group kicked her in the stomach.

“The victim is now being treated at the hospital after suffering severe bleeding due to the kick,” the post read.

The 98-second footage shows a group of teenagers gathered in front of a lift near the victim’s home.

The victim is seen coming out from her house and speaking to the group before one of the girls kicks her in the stomach.

The victim, doubling up, appears to be clutching her stomach in pain as the group enters the lift.

It is learnt that the woman’s 30-year-old husband lodged a police report following the commotion.

Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din said two men, in their 30s, have been arrested in relation to the case, the New Straits Times reported.

The case is being investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.
