A coffee shop waitress has been arrested for stabbing another woman following a threesome in Sibu last night.
In the 9pm incident, which took place in Jalan Lajong, the 46-year-old stabbed the victim, a 34-year-old cleaner at the council market, in the private parts using a 22cm kitchen knife.
The suspect, who was aware of the relationship between her husband and the victim, a mother of four, had asked him to invite the latter over to discuss their situation.
The man, a 28-year-old lorry attendant, agreed to his wife’s request.
According to Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Stanley Jonathan Ringgit, when the victim arrived at the couple’s home, the trio happily chatted.
The man apparently consumed four cans of beer.
“The man had some alcohol while the two women only had soft drinks.
“The three of them then agreed to have a threesome,” Stanley was quoted as saying.
After the man had sex with the suspect, she told him that she was going to the toilet to ease herself, The Star reported.
“The man continued having sex with the victim when the suspect came into the room with a knife and stabbed the victim, causing her to scream,” Stanley was quoted as saying.
The man rushed out and told his brother, who rents another room in the house, to go after the suspect.
She was caught not far from the house and handed over to the police.
“The suspect was angry about her husband’s relationship with the victim, whose husband is working with a timber company in the Solomon Islands,” said Stanley.
He said police, who were alerted to the incident at 9.31pm, arrested the suspect and seized the kitchen knife.
The suspect has been remanded for seven days to assist in the investigation.
The victim, who suffered massive loss of blood from her stab wound, was taken to Sibu Hospital. After treatment, she was reported to be in stable condition.
“The case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for causing grievous hurt,” said Stanley.
He revealed that the couple were married under local adat (traditions) and have been together for seven years.
