Former investment, trade and industry minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz has been appointed chairperson of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida).
In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office said the two-year appointment takes effect today.
“Apart from leading Mida, Zafrul will also be given other responsibilities, which will be decided and announced by the prime minister later,” the PMO said.
