DAP’s Datuk Zaid Ibrahim has bemoaned that he has not received any offers to contest in the forthcoming general election.
“I like Dr Boo’s style. He declined the so-called offer to contest in Labis. Wish I too could decline; except I received no offer!” he tweeted on April 1.

Zaid resigned from the Cabinet six months after he was appointed a minister in March 2008, following his criticism of the then Internal Security Act.
The then MP for Kota Baru was suspended by Umno later that year.
He joined PKR in 2009 but had a fallout with the PKR leadership.
He formed Parti Kesejahteraan Insan Tanah Air in December 2010, from which he eventually resigned as president due to internal bickering.
He joined DAP last year.
