PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin has confirmed that she will attend a disciplinary board hearing on February 25.

The housing and local government minister said she will provide clarification on each accusation against her.

“The disciplinary process must include a stage where we provide written explanations, and after that, there must be a meeting to provide (further) clarification.

“There may be some things they are not sure of and do not fully understand, so they want further clarification from me. This also gives me a chance to explain things,” she told reporters at Pasar Siti Khadijah in Kota Baru today.

On January 18, Zuraida received a show-cause letter from the disciplinary board and was given 14 days to respond.

The letter touched on various issues, including her speech at a dinner on December 8 last year where she expressed her dissatisfaction with the party’s national congress.

She had said she would take leave from her party post so as to not disrupt the disciplinary board’s probe.
