On-demand food delivery service provider foodpanda has kick-started 2019 with lower fees.

Delivery fees in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya are down to RM3 from RM5, while those in Penang, Johor Baru and Kota Kinabalu have been reduced to RM2, effective January 1.

“We want more Malaysians to be able to order anything from their local mamak right up to fine-dining restaurants.

“The revised pricing is a fantastic way for us to offer our customers better value for their money when ordering in their favourite food,” country managing director Sayantan Das said in a statement today.

He said in addition to lower delivery fees, the minimum order has been reduced to RM10 nationwide.
