Mukhriz Mahathir has demanded Kedah menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor to make a police report on an alleged RM13 million transfer to a Canadian bank account from a state-owned company or apologise and retract remarks on the matter.
This came after Sanusi said the sum was remitted by Kedah Menteri Besar Incorporated during Mukhriz’s time as MB to a Barclays Bank account.
Mukhriz said as a result of Sanusi’s remarks, many had perceived that he was behind the bank transfer.
“He must be responsible for whatever he says. I take the comment seriously.
“Lodge a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission or the police so that a thorough probe can take place.
“Or else, I challenge the MB to say sorry and withdraw his remarks,” he said at a press conference today. – Malaysiakini
