MonSpace Founder and Directors Plead Not Guilty

MonSpace founder and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Jessy Lai along with two directors of the company pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court on Wednesday to charges of promoting and conducting a direct selling business without the Pyramid Scheme licence last year. 

The offences were allegedly committed at two premises in Bukit Jalil between June 4 and July 19, 2017.

Jessy Lai, also known as Lai Chai Shuang, Wong Tat Foong, and Chai Ling Mooi made the plea after the charge was read against them before Judge Manira Mohd Nor.

Lai was granted bail of RM400,000, Wong RM20,000 and Chai RM200,000.

The trio was ordered to surrender their passports

The judge set June 14 for case mention.
