Leaked Malaysian navy documents have been uploaded to the dark web, Singapore’s Straits Times reported today.
The documents are among a host of stolen military information from various countries and defence contractors that have been found on a portal on the dark web.
The documents are believed to have been obtained from the hacked email accounts of military personnel.
One of the documents shared on the portal was a US diplomatic letter last July that detailed the radar equipment and frequencies of a US Navy ship asking to dock at a Sabah port in August last year.
The dark web is a network of sites not accessible to regular users of the internet. It is often used for illicit activities. – TMI
