A union of two heirs from two of Malaysia’s largest corporations.
Chryseis Tan, daughter of Tan Sri Vincent Tan, announced her wedding engagement to SM Faliq SM Nasimuddin, son of the late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin on her Instagram account yesterday.
Faliq, 32, proposed to Chryseis, 29, while on a holiday in Marrakesh on Friday.
In an Instagram photo, Faliq is seen down on one knee with an opened engagement ring case in hand, against a soft pink setting of bouquets and candles. A floral sign reads: “Will you marry me?”
The post has seen a deluge of congratulatory messages from friends and fans.
It is said that the couple met while studying at an international school and has been dating for a while.
Chryseis is the CEO of Berjaya Times Square, executive director of Berjaya Assets Bhd, and chairman of the board for entertainment hub TREC Kuala Lumpur. She is also one of the driving forces behind health concept La Juiceria and Thai restaurant Greyhound Cafe.
She has 10 other siblings and is Instagram-famous for her jet-setting lifestyle.
Faliq is the deputy executive chairman and group managing director of Naza TTDI.
