An actor was charged in the Ampang Magistrate’s Court today with enticing a married woman to have illicit intercourse with him.
Clad in a striped shirt, the 24-year-old accused was calm when he was ushered into the courtroom.
Muhammad Shah Radhi Hazvee, popularly known as Shah Hazvee, pleaded not guilty after the charge was read out to him before Magistrate Farah Nasihah Annuar.
Muhammad Shah, who acted in the drama who starred in the drama “Kan Ku Kejar Cintamu”, “Monalisa” and “Hero” was charged with enticing 36-year-old Nurul Haireena Isnin, whom he knows to be the wife of 38-year-old Syed Mukhris Syed Ismail Shahabudin, to have illicit intercourse with him.
The offence was allegedly committed in Taman Sering, Ukay Perdana at 8 pm last May 25.
The charge, framed under Section 498 of the Penal Code, provides an imprisonment for up to two years, or fine, or both, upon conviction.
Deputy public prosecutor S Sangitaa asked the court to impose RM6,000 bail on the accused.
Farah Nasihah allowed the accused bail of RM2,300 in one surety and set Aug 5 for mention.
