Perikatan Nasional information chief Azmin Ali said he was prepared to seek a fourth term as the Gombak MP.
In an interview with Astro Awani yesterday, Azmin said he was aware that many rivals are keen to challenge him and he welcomed it.
“I’ll leave it to the people of Gombak to make the right and responsible decision.
“I’ve been with the people of Gombak a long time. They know me and my services.

“I am prepared to continue my service to the people of Gombak,” he added.
During his time with PKR, Azmin was also elected as the Hulu Kelang assemblyperson and three times as Bukit Antarabangsa assemblyperson.
Between 2014 and 2018, he was the Selangor menteri besar.
After quitting PKR in 2020, there has been speculation that Azmin may choose a different seat, rather than face the voters who might be upset over this decision to defect.
PN has yet to reveal its list of candidates for Selangor.
Azmin said his campaign will be adopting “Melangkah pasti, bersatu berbakti” as a slogan.
“I want us to move forward, not back,” he explained. – Malaysiakini
