The conditional movement-control order (CMCO) in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya, which was set to end tomorrow, has been extended to November 9, Ismail Sabri Yaakob said today.

Nilai in Negri Sembilan is also being placed under CMCO from October 28 till November 10 following a rise in Covid-19 cases in the district.

The senior minister said the decision to extend the order by a further two weeks was based on the recommendation of the Health Ministry.

Ismail said this decision was reached after health authorities found that the risk of Covid-19 infection has not abated despite the CMCO in the previous 14 days.
