Investigators have yet to discover any sign of criminal acts on a couple whose bodies were found in a three-storey townhouse in Jalan Medang Serai, Bangsar today.

A police source told The Malaysian Insight that police are combing the area to look for evidence but have yet to uncover any wrongdoing.

“Investigations are still ongoing, but so far we have yet to discover any foul play,” said the source, who declined to elaborate.

An official statement from police will be released soon.

It was reported earlier that police officers were seen removing two bodies from a townhouse, drawing a crowd of about 20 bystanders.

At 2.30pm, around 20 officers were seen guarding the premises as they removed the bodies from the house.

Meanwhile, The Malaysian Insight learnt that the victims were a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s.

A source close to the couple said the man used to work as a business broker but was also facing financial trouble.

“He is a biker…a motorcycle enthusiast. Used to work as a broker in some business, but he was facing some financial problems.

“He was unreachable for the past few days and it is quite shocking to learn the news,” the man said.

A check on Facebook found that tributes have been pouring on the Royal Enfield Motorcycle Owners Club Malaysia page on a man believed to be the deceased.

A picture of the man with a woman believed to be his wife was shared on the page.

The man was identified as Subramaniam Rajadurai while the woman was referred to as Nan. – TMI
